Jose Rodriguez, better known as DJ Joe Black, is the CEO of Joe Black Radio and a proud son of the Bronx, New York. Raised on Colgate and Watson Avenue, with roots running deep through Castle Hill Avenue, Joe Black's story is one of culture, rhythm, and relentless passion. Growing up as a young Black Puerto Rican kid in the Bronx during the golden era of hip-hop, he was immersed in the culture that birthed the art form itself. The sounds of turntables spinning, records cutting, and the electric energy of house parties and club scenes shaped his world from an early age. He watched in awe as legendary DJs like DJ Rome, DJ Spontaneous, DJ Kid Capri, DJ Doo-Wop, Dj SNS along with many others, commanded the crowds and moved the culture forward. Their artistry lit a fire in him — a drive to master the craft and carry the torch. Inspired by the greats who came before him and fueled by the rich cultural tapestry of his neighborhood Colgate Ave & Watson Ave in the Bronx. DJ Joe Black transformed that early inspiration into a lifelong pursuit. Today, as CEO of Joe Black Radio, he stands as a testament to the power of representation, perseverance, and the belief that a kid from the Bronx can turn his passion into his legacy. Now an official member of the legendary Crate Runner DJ'S on Crate Runner Radio, DJ Joe Black has found a platform that amplifies his voice and his craft on a global scale.
